Nebraska AIDS Project visited the District Office. There will be a Nebraska AIDS Walk on September 12th with registration beginning at 12:00 noon at the NECC Campus Lifelong Learning Center. We are hoping to form a team of United Methodists. Please contact the District Office at 402-371-1313 if you are interested.

The meeting for the 2011 Vision and Funding Plan is scheduled to gather at Plainview UMC on September 20.

United Methodists in Nebraska and Kansas will share a bishop beginning in 2012. The Nebraska-Kansas Transition Team is sponsoring listening sessions in the districts, including a session in the Elkhorn Valley District.
