On the Road for Our Lord

The best laid plans of mice and (hu)men . . .
The winter storm that hit eastern Nebraska on Sunday made things very interesting for the first wave of team members returning from New Mexico. Some of the team spent the night in Columbus. Some made it to Norfolk where they spent the night at the home of one of the team members. By Monday night four team members are still unable to get to their homes because of the weather.
The second wave (consisting of the four pastors in Nancy's car) left Denver on Monday morning and made it to Norfolk by 9:00 PM. There we found hospitality at the home of Pastor Charles and Lydia. We are hoping (praying) that the winds will die down and the snow plows clear the way so that we can make it home to our parishes and homes tomorrow!
We appreciate all the support, prayers, and gifts that have been sent our way during the last week and a half.
God has been very good to us all, and despite the difficulties of our return journey, we all made it back safely.
We look forward to many more Elkhorn Valley District mission trips in years to come!
