On Saturday, January 23 the team will be gathering at the First United Methodist Church in Wayne for its final planning/organizing meeting.  We have fourteen people committed to going to Shiprock, NM representing eight different congregations across the Elkhorn Valley District.  We will be doing group building and preparing ourselves spiritually for this trip.  We will be going over the final details of our preparations.  Finally, Rev. Doyle Burbank-Williams will be helping us with the commissioning of the group.

We will be leaving from Norfolk on Saturday, February 6.  We will arrive in Shiprock, NM the evening of Sunday, February 7.  For more details about our trip please go to our website http://4corners.flyingbible.com/

We need your support as we complete our preparations for this project.  First we need your prayers.  Please pray for the leadership and the team.  Pray for good weather and safe travels.  Also we appreciate any financial support that you might offer to offset the costs of the trip.  Please direct this support to the EV District Office . We will be posting updates to this blog and pictures on the photo page daily during our time in New Mexico.

Re: Group Is Getting Together

Thanks for taking the time with the blog, Phil. I'm also going to post the daily prayer calendar so we at home can keep your group in prayer.
